ULYSSES

A treasure is unearthed: Joseph Beuys extends Ulysses by six more chapters on behalf of James Joyce is the title of a work that Joseph Beuys created between 1957 and 1961. It consists of six booklets in DIN A5 format with 750 pages and 355 drawings in pencil and partly in watercolor. Part of the Graphic Collection at the Hessian State Museum in Darmstadt since 1996, this enormous work was largely invisible to Beuys experts and the general public.
